Achieving SDGs by 2030 will propel Nigeria to further prosperity - Opia Kumah

Special interview focusing on Nigeria's opportunities and challenges in the new development era.

"SDGs are a comprehensive framework for development and progress for all nations. They are a platform for launching our development and progress." stated Opia in his remarks during the interview with Nigeria's Africa Independent Television watched across the continent.  

The UNDP Resident Representative mentioned that Nigeria was slow in taking off with MDGs, however, alot was achieved. However, in the SDGs era, Nigeria cannot afford to wait, if the country has to achieve even more.

"Achieving the SDGs will be for the good of the Nigeria."  He said.
