Effective Communication Strategy

One of the new UNDP areas of focus is AIDS and Human Development (AHD). Within this structure, Leadership for Development Results (LD4R) and Community Conversations Enhancement (CCE) and Development of advocacy and communication strategies for behaviour change have been retained as core approaches for achieving results.

Institutional Capacity Built to Plan and Implement Policies

The Secretary General issued a directive for joint UN Programming on HIV/AIDS and guidance was issued on division of labour for HIV and AIDS activities among UN agencies. One of the new UNDP areas of focus is Governance of AIDS Responses (GAR) and Human Rights and Gender (HRG)
